The Ceylon grading system, in full
Ceylon grades describe leaf size and style, not quality alone. Whole-leaf grades brew gently and look elegant; smaller broken grades, fannings, and dust infuse faster and stronger — ideal for blends and tea bags.
Main Grades
The principal commercial grades, from whole-leaf Pekoe styles down to fannings.

Grade names follow the orthodox convention: OP (Orange Pekoe) and P (Pekoe) denote whole leaf; B marks broken grades; F indicates fannings or "flowery"; and D is dust. We supply any of these single-grade or blended to your target cup, market position, and export format.
